This is an indian game called “antakshari” if you love music.
Lets say you divide the people into teams A,B,C….
Any one team chosen to start the game sings a song,
(from the starting, and one complete verse, THIS IS A RULE !! No single lines or 3-4 words
)
eg team A sings…”every night in my dreams, i see you.. I feel you, that is how i know you.. Go on
I have crossed the distance and spaces between us, you have come to show you go ON”
now they stop.
Team B is supposed to sing a new song starting from a syllable from which the previous song ended (in this case its th sound “N”)
Team B – “Na na na ..blah blah ( some song from “N”)”
and it continues.
A team can end their song at any valid point like end of verse or end of paragraph, where they think the next team may not be able to come up with a song with that Syllable .
A team unable to guess has to lose the points and pass the syllable to next team ![]()
Modify the game, create you own rules, i have given you the base:) Hope u like music, u will enjoy it alot !!!
And yes.. “PLAY FAIR “:D

We are having both appetizers and a sit down meal buffet style so the guests can choose if they want to sit and eat or just nibble, so we have the appetizers chosen and for the meal we are having Hawaiian Chicken, little corn on the cobs, and we need another vegetable, I thought maybe a cheesy potato casserole but my fiancee didn’t like it, any suggestions?
The appetizers are: crab salad and crackers, fruit and a chocolate fountain, little smokies, and a cheese ball.
Thank you!!!!!!!!!

lu’au party
Two4Hawaii answers:
Aloha,
What kind of Hawaiian Party? Is it a lu’au with a buffet and lots of guests? Are you just serving just pupus (appetizers) or is it a sit down?
All adults or a children’s party?
Here are some Hawaiian Recipes, except they are more what we eat at our lu’aus (hence the absence of the pineapple).

Since your party is not in Hawaii and everyone needs the “Hawaiian” pineapple at a party, here is one the the tourists love here and it can pass as an appetizer, used as a center piece or a light lunch.
Pineapple Boat
1 ripe Pineapple
Cantaloupe
Watermelon
Strawberries
Bananas
Seedless Grapes
Oranges
Apples
Kiwis
Shredded coconut
Prepare pineapple boat by cutting pineapple in half, lengthwise, leaving the crown attached. Cut close to the shell with a curved knife or thin, sharp knife. Remove the fruit. Cut out the center core. Cut the pineapple and other fruit into bite-size cubes or melons into balls. Mix all the ingredients together and serve in the shell. Sprinkle the shredded coconut on top. Serves 8-10.
Here’s some ideas!
*Decorate your house, garden, or hall with fresh orchids and ti plant leaves. These are available at most plant retail outlets. Fresh loose orchids are great to scatter on the alter area at a church or on the grass in a garden to add a Hawaiian flare. Orchids float so they can be used to float in a swimming pool, fountain, punch bowl, or in fish bowls. Loose Orchids are also great for quickly and easily decorate tables or mark place settings.
*Ti Leaves are non-toxic and can be used with food like as a dish liner. Ti leaves also make great decorations like as table runners or arrange a bunch of them in a circle and put the wedding cake in the center. Ti leaves can be used along with cut flowers in floral arrangements. On a side note- In addition to adding a tropical flare, ti leaves are believed to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits in the Hawaiian culture.
*Decorate the reception tables with centerpieces that are Hawaiian related: like coconut scented candles in real coconuts! Simply cut your coconut in half, clean it out and place your candle in it! Don’t forget the leis! If fresh leis and fresh decorations from Hawaii are out of your budget a more economical alternative is using the silk ones! Toss them around all over! The guest will surely see them and your leis will be worn!
*On your guest sign in table, Set up a guest book that looks Hawaiian and use silk orchids as table centerpieces. We normally get extra orchids and tear off the petals to lay that around on tables. And you can also set up silk orchids that have stem pieces for your female guest to pick up and put behind their ears!
*Don’t forget the nuts! Have island treats like macadamia nuts on the reception tables for guests to snack on.
*If you are having an outdoor wedding or reception tiki torches add great atmosphere and are typically available at any home improvement center.
*Don’t forget your Hawaiian music!
If you have time, you can get some great props from www.orientaltradingcompany.com
Aloha and enjoy your party!
